This stunning Large Botella Mexican chimenea features a unique contemporary design, named after the bottle it looks like. Isn’t it a fab shape? So stylish! Made in Mexico by skilled artisans, every one is slightly different. There’s no need for a roaring fire. A small, neat fire is perfect, making the clay naturally radiate heat so it acts like a powerful space heater. It also happens to make a beautiful garden ornament, being so sculptural. It works hard, too. Mexican chimeneas are the best functioning burners. The structure and design has been honed over centuries in Central America, making them the easiest chimeneas to light as well as the most efficient burners. The clay soon becomes hot and radiates the heat outwards, just like a metal radiator inside your home.
A couple of things to bear in mind. You can’t use all fuels and lighting fuels in Mexican chimeneas. And they need protection from the weather. Because they’re hand-made and hand-painted the shapes and colours may vary slightly. The paint finish will change over time to give you an interesting patina, but you can repaint it if you wish. This will vary depending on the item and the initial cost of delivery, so could range between £10 – £100. The item must be in ‘as new’ condition in full packaging, unopened.
