The Milan firepit from La Hacienda

Contemporary styling with a very cool 1950s mid-century edge, this glorious Milan fire pit reminds us of West German waisted ceramic art vases from the ’50s. It is an amazing look for the garden, full of personality. It also happens to be built like a tank from tough materials made to last.

This model, like the other two, burns wood very efficiently for lots of lovely heat. As well as the fire itself, the metal bowl heats up to act as a radiator, giving you a surprising amount of 360 degree warmth to gather around. So what does this design bring to mind? Some of our team members feel the Brava fire pit has a Spanish edge, others think it looks more medieval. Either way this is a handsome beast with its chunky, sturdy shape, flared decorative legs, carry rings and decorative studded band. The colour is great too, a bronze-effect metallic finish that adds to the visual interest.

A strong metal mesh lid keeps the fuel where it should be, stopping sparks and ash from flying. It’s also a simple safety feature, keeping little fingers and curious pets out of the open fire inside.
