It does an awesome job of creating pizza perfection, working efficiently and quickly to create the ultimate home cooked pizzas in no time at all in your garden, or even when you’re camping. Let’s take a deep-dive into the magic. Prepare your taste buds for a treat. All you need is a supply of wood pellets and you’re off.
The brilliant Tepro Table Top Pellet Fired Pizza Oven
Quality materials sit at the heart of this small pizza oven, something we always insist on. It’s also an impressively efficient way to bake pizzas up to 30cm diameter, a full foot across in old money.
The outside housing is made from special extra-strong, high temperature black powder coated steel with a 430 stainless steel interior. The pizza stone itself is made from cordierite, a strong, naturally-forming magnesium iron aluminium cyclosilicate found in metamorphic and volcanic rocks, also used in pottery kilns. It handles extreme high temperatures with ease and doesn’t tend to suffer from heat shock.
The steel pellet fuel compartment takes about 380g of pellets at a time. The door handle is made from Bakelite, cool to the touch. The four legs fold away for convenience and easy transport, and the 50cm tall chimney – that’s 20 inches for old-school folks – sends the hot air away safely into the atmosphere. The pizza stone measures 33 x 33 x 0.9cm, the whole thing measures H77 x W35.2 x D76.5cm, and it weighs in at just 12.5kg. The aluminium pizza peel with rubberwood handle, which you can see below, is also included, the perfect tool for the job.
Basically, this brilliant gadget is all you need to turn every alfresco occasion into pizza time. Just to finish off, here are some amazing pizza recipes to test-drive for yourself, courtesy of the excellent BBC Food website. Happy baking, everyone!
