Make sure you read the instructions and maintenance notes for the Edyth Mexican chimenea, so you know how to look after it, and always cure it first with a really small fire. Remember you can’t use every kind of fuel in clay chims, and they’ll need to be covered or brought inside in winter. Because it’s hand made and painted by hand every one is a bit different. The paint will gradually discolour naturally, leaving you with a subtle finish that doesn’t affect its use. Repaint it if you like.
