Which way’s the wind blowing? See at a glance with this beautifully designed and made Espira Landing Duck Farmhouse Copper Weathervane. In the 9th Century AD, the Pope apparently insisted that every church in Europe should show a cockerel on its dome or steeple. We just think it’s a really nice idea!Ā Our popular Farmhouse range of weathervanes suits most homes and outbuildings. The decorative duck – clearly a mallard – and the pretty spacer balls are made from polished copper, brazed together by hand. The NSEW letters are polished brass with a powder-coated black steel rotation rod. Both metals will gradually lose the bright shine to give you a lush patina. Eventually the copper will turn verdigris, the classic green colour everyone loves. If you prefer, slow the process using several coats of clear spray varnish. You can use Hammerite to extend the life of the steel rotation rod. There’s an eave bracket supplied, projecting 12.5cm (5ā) with a 10cm square mounting plate.

Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes, all our products come with a minimum 1-year warranty. Some ranges include extended warranties.

If you are returning the item under your 14 day right to cancel, then a collection charge will be applied unless you pay for returning the item. This will vary depending on the item and the initial cost of delivery, so could range between Ā£10 – Ā£100.Ā The item must be in āas newā condition in full packaging, unopened.
