A shining coppery bantam Rooster displays his brilliant plumage as he struts confidently across the directional arrow of this beautiful weathervane. No wonder this Bantam Rooster Farmhouse Copper Weathervane is so popular. This is a practical, fully functioning wind direction indicator with stunning decorative accents. Handcrafted in copper and brass, with cast brass cardinal points and copper spacer balls, this weathervane is ideal for most homes and outbuildings. It comes with a powder coated steel mounting rod and angled eave bracket for easy fitting. The NSEW letters are polished brass with a powder-coated black steel rotation rod. Both the copper and brass will gradually lose the bright shine to give you a lush patina. Eventually the copper will turn to verdigris, the classic green colour everyone loves. If you prefer, slow the process using several coats of clear spray varnish. You can use Hammerite to extend the life of the steel rotation rod.
