You’re the proud owner of a stunning Norfolk Grills kitchen unit. You need a Norfolk Grills charcoal starter to go with… and here it is.
You could create your own charcoal by soaking scraps of wood in lighter fluid and burning it. But heck, that is DANGEROUS! And it can make your food taste nasty, too. The clever way ahead is to make your own charcoal using a charcoal starter like this.
The simple design – basically a metal cylinder with a grate inside – makes life easy.  First, remove the cooking grate from your grill. Fill the charcoal starter with charcoal, part-full if you’re not cooking much food. Put a couple of lighter cubes on the charcoal grate and light them. Then stand the burner on top of the cubes, on the grate.
The fire from the cubes will begin burning the charcoal. It should only take 15 minutes before the coals are ready to add to the grill for cooking on. Arrange your charcoal as you like it for cooking either on direct or indirect heat, and you’re off. You can tell when it’s hot enough – the top coals will go grey on top.
Now all you need to do is create something delicious…
