The Tepro Hartford Pedestal Charcoal BBQ is ideal for cooking a feast in a small garden. Don’t you just love the tall, elegant shape? Made from great quality stainless steel, this small barbecue has an adjustable air vent in the pedestal itself. This lets you adjust the air flow and improve the burn rate of the charcoal, something called the draft effect. The ‘draft’ is actually the sucking action of the smoker, which pulls air into the fire to help it burn while pushing the smoke out. This helps the gases escape while keeping the cooking area good and hot.
This is how to do it. When lighting the charcoal, keep the air vent open to heat things up quickly and efficiently. When it’s time to cook and the food is on the grill, reduce the air flow through the vent to cook faster and save fuel. The stainless steel cooking grid comes with two removable handles and gives you a circular cooking area 39cm across. Perfect for a family do, for a romantic cook-out for two, and a gorgeous design that’ll complement every style of small garden or patio.
